In Pursuit of ExcellenceHospice of the Pines is always in pursuit of excellence in the hospice services we provide. The patient and family work with the hospice team to decide how they wish to find quality of life in their final days. Each person defines his or her own Quality of Life. In pursuit of excellence, our goal is to help that person achieve that Quality by listening, caring, and providing Our needs are quite different at end of life. Hospice helps fulfill those needs. Patients and their loved ones lean on the Hospice Team to answer questions, provide resources and guidance during this difficult time. |

Special Things
Patients and families appreciate small things, they do make a difference. Perhaps a hot cup of cocoa on a cold, winter day, some conversation and companionship. Don’t forget the whipped cream and marshmallows! It is not the time to worry about sugar or calories! “Small things done with love will change the world.”-Mother Teresa |
