Hi, I was reading about you being a founding member of the LIVE campaign in the past. I was wondering your thoughts about a new hospice become part of the campaign. Was it a helpful addition for your patients/families? Was it worthwhile completing the community startegies suggested. Was it helpful in recruiting patients?
I would greatly appreciate any feedback you could give me. Thanks in advance

I am a volunteer at Hospice of the Valley in Peoria, Az. If I want to volunteer with Hospice of the Pines do I need to go thru the orientation again? I would not be available until next summer June thru August.

I was wondering if you needed volunteers to spend time with hospice patients that do not have family or support. I recently lost a co-worker who was in this situation and have been moved to make sure that no one is alone. Can I help?

Thank you Linda for sharing your story. It is difficult to recognize when we need help and at time like those is when we need it most. I am so glad that Hospice of the Pines helped you and the support groups. Your advice is wonderful for anyone going through difficult times, support groups have been a great help to me and many others.
