National Nurses Week
National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, the birth date of Florence Nightingale.
Hospice Social Workers
The social worker will help with additional resources as they are needed to fulfill the wishes of the patient and family and serve as a support system along with the rest of the hospice team.
Hospice Heart Program
Awards are given quarterly to employees that have outstanding contributions to our goal of excellence.

Quality Initiatives
Hospice of the Pines adopted these quality initiatives in 2006 from the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. They help guide our organization in our daily business operations to strive for quality on a daily basis in all aspects of our operations.
